Across our care homes, residents are getting ready to watch the Euro 2020 matches. All seems to be at the right football spirit and getting ready to watch the matches and of course to support the English squad.

Residents at Kenwood House took advantage of the great weather this May bank holiday weekend and enjoy a summer garden party to include sun, water, ice creams and great spirit all around.

As the sun is shining, both residents and staff enjoyed a BBQ at our garden at Mereside. Hopefully many more BBQ’s to come as spring and summer arriving.

E, one of our most beloved residents in Kenwood House celebrated her birthday with her unique birthday gift of her very own – a newly made gin bar (non-alcoholic of course). Happy birthday E and enjoy the gin bar!

Happy Easter across all the homes. As always, the Easter bunny came to visit all of our residents, nobody left without a gift.  

Fabulous St. Patrick’s Day party at Mereside, great day to all residents and staff at the care home.

Although a bit of a secluded and remote festive season, all care homes across the group celebrated Christmas in great spirit and with assistance from Santa and his helper. Best wishes for the coming year with the hope that everything will be back to the way it was in 2021.

Residents at Mereside Care Home enjoyed an authentic Indian food feast to include Indian decorations and ornaments, various pictures, all done by the residents, and above all, great Indian food. Great initiative by care home management & staff and great fun to Mereside’s residents.  

As part of our on-going care homes’ maintenance and upgrade program, brand new kitchen was installed in Mereside Care Home to benefit both carers and residents. Beforehand, all walls of kitchen space were stripped, replastered and painted to ensure walls are clean, tidy and free of moist and damp prior to installing the new kitchen…

Two Peugeot Expert mobility vehicles were purchased recently for our care homes in Stoke-on-Trent – Roughcote Hall Farm and Kenwood House.  Both vehicles have 5&6 driver and passenger seats each plus one additional seat for resident using a wheelchair.
