As at the care homes we are looking for any reason for celebration, Chinese New Year Day was celebrated yesterday at Mereside.

As preparation for the Christmas and the festive season that arriving upon us, Christmas jumper day was celebrated across the homes – true collection of great Christmas jumpers to our service users and carers.

Amazing Halloween parties were celebrated across group’s homes over course of the weekend – frightenedly fun!

Both Roughcote Hall Farm and Mereside Care Home celebrated this week birthdays to two of our beloved residents – Phil, who celebrated a very special 70 years old and Stephen who celebrated 58 years old. Happy birthday to both gentlemen, lovely celebrations in place.

Residents and staff took advantage of the glorious weather and created an amazing beach alike experience at Mereside. Plenty of sun, water, ice cream and above all -FUN to everybody.  A day to remember!

To celebrate the summer bank holiday, residents at Kenwood House enjoyed an amazing afternoon that included playing with farm animals, brought specially to the home, various playing activities and enjoyed ice cream straight from the ice cream van.

A true Indian restaurant experience to the residents of Mereside – a full menu and selection of starters, main courses and even deserts. And to make the evening even more interesting and enjoyable – staff organized a WebQuest dedicated to the subcontinent – true Indian experience.
